Ethics Policy

Submissions are compared to millions of published research papers, web materials, and other relevant sources by the ethical committee. If plagiarism or misconduct is discovered, the policy spells out the repercussions.

Our policy has three major objectives: to provide guidance to our authors, to safeguard the intellectual integrity of our journal and its content, and to outline our editors’ and authors’ ethical obligations.

Before submitting to our journal, we ask all authors to read and accept our ethical policy. This is in line with our commitment to preventing ethical misconduct in academic and professional publishing, which we recognise as a rising problem. It’s worth noting that most instances of plagiarism, redundant publication, copyright infringement, and other related offences are caused by a lack of understanding rather than malicious intent. Our policy is one of prevention rather than punishment.

Instructions to the Authors:

i. Make all data sources openly available, and ensure that any submitted research work is original, fully cited, and accurately represents all authors. The contribution must be one-of-a-kind and not currently being considered by anybody else.
ii. Material from third parties, including previously unreleased work by the writers. Anything that could jeopardise the submission’s originality should be avoided at all costs and/or reviewed with the editing office first.Openly disclose any conflict of interest – for example, if publication were to benefit a company or services in which the author(s) has a vested interest.

iii. Respond promptly to any demands for source data, evidence of authorship, or originality from the editor and publisher, giving an acceptable explanation for any discrepancies or fails to give key information.
iv. If the editor and/or publisher are dissatisfied with the facts or explanations presented, fully cooperate with any subsequent investigations.

v. Expect the publisher and editor to be transparent, efficient, and respectful throughout the submissions process.
vi. Maintain open lines of communication with both the editor and the publisher.
